Selecting the Best Unit Size

How can you decide the best storage unit size to select for your needs? Here is a list of unit sizes with examples of what might fit inside each one. As a general rule, if you aren't sure, you should probably go up one size.  It's so easy to underestimate the size you will need! 😉

10' Wide x 5' Deep. Has 2 roll-up doors 3' wide with outside drive-up access. 

Unit is great for frequent or easy access to about 100 totes or inventory for your business. Works better for totes and boxes than for furniture.

5' Wide x 10' Deep. Has 3' swing out door with outside drive-up access. 

Unit Will Hold: Mattress set, sofa, dining room set or chest of drawers, boxes and small items. Works well for furniture and totes and boxes.

Has large roll-up door with outside drive-up access. 

Unit Will Hold: Furnishings of one bedroom apartment with refrigerator and washer/dryer, patio furniture and many boxes -OR- two office suites -OR- about 200 file boxes.

Has large roll-up door with outside drive-up access. 

Unit Will Hold: Furnishings of two bedroom apartment or small house with appliances, patio furniture and many boxes -OR- a vehicle or small boat -OR- it is big enough to fit carpet rolls and building materials.

Has large roll-up door with outside drive-up access. 

Unit Will Hold: Furnishings of two bedroom house with appliances, patio furniture and many boxes -OR- a vehicle or small boat -OR- construction equipment.

Has large roll-up door with outside drive-up access. 

Unit Will Hold: Furnishings of three bedroom house with appliances, patio furniture and many boxes, garage extras and miscellaneous -OR- a vehicle or boat.

Has large roll-up door with outside drive-up access. 

Unit Will Hold: Furnishings of four or five bedroom house with appliances, patio furniture and many boxes, garage extras and miscellaneous -OR- a vehicle or boat.
